Celebrate the Reason! That’s right the true reason for the Church to exist at all is to welcome new members into the household of God. June 20th we will be celebrating a service of Holy Baptism as we welcome two of our newest members into the family of God. Please join us for this Primary Service of the Church and stay for a lovely reception afterward!
The Women’s Bible Study, based on A Woman’s High Calling – Ten Essentials for Godly Living by Elizabeth George will meet next Tuesday afternoon, June 22 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Barbara Fox. A light lunch will be provided. Our last meeting before taking a summer break will be Tuesday, June 29 at the home of Anita Luff.
Daughters of the King will not meet in July, but will resume regular meetings on the 2nd Saturday of each month in August. At that time, we will be planning our collection of school supplies.
Children’s Church will be continuing throughout the summer. All children are welcome to participate.
St. Andrew’s Reunion Group, open to all members of the congregation, continues to meet on the first Monday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
Thanks to all those who contributed to the annual Spring Fling. It was a great day with lots of wonderful fellowship and food. A special thanks to Jerry and Kevin for catching the two main courses for the day blue crab and fish!
Altar Flowers – The 2010 calendar for Altar Flowers is posted on the bulletin board. Please consider enhancing our worship by donating flowers for Sundays during the Church year, excluding Lent. Flowers may be donated in memory of a loved one, in thanksgiving for birthdays or other important events, or to the Glory of God.
VISION 2012: Remember to pray daily for St. Andrews. Your attendance is vitally important. The best way to get new members is for you to invite them!
